Just go to the Posting Details page and click either icon (next to the Send to option). Log in to your account and Corkboard will add the Posting.

OK, enough yapping on our part. If we keep going on, we’ll start to get misty. So we’ll step aside and let you register for your own Corkboard. Once you’ve given CB a spin, please let us know what you think.

Here’s how to get started:

Sign up for a free Dial2Do account
1. Once you’ve registered for an account, click the Do more tab, and then the Organize tab. You’ll see Corkboard toward the top of the list.
2. Click the More button, and on the following page, enter the e-mail address associated with your Corkboard account* (or follow this link).

To add a Voice Posting to your Corkboard
1. Call Dial2Do**
2. When the system asks “What you’d like to do?” say “Corkboard”
3. Say what you want to see in your Posting (ex: “Mom’s birthday on Friday”; “Killers concert December 9th”; “Grey Dog coffee shop.”)

That’s it! When you log in to your Corkboard, your Voice Posting will be in your Inbox, transcribed!

*If you can’t remember which e-mail address you used, check your Corkboard Profile.

**To make it easier to call Dial2Do, add their number in your mobile device’s contacts list: 213-325-2615 for Corkboarders in the U.S.; 604-484-1955 for Corkboarders in Canada.

Sharing your thoughts is fast and easy. Thanks to the kind people at UserVoice, all you have to do is click the small yellow button (labeled feedback) on the right side of every page — as shown in the screenshot below. Just click that button and an overlay will appear. On that you can:

1. Vote on ideas that other Corkboarders have shared
2. Add an idea (such as a new feature)
3. Report a bug in the system

If you need a little help, just follow these quick steps:

• Log in to your Corkboard
• Go to the People link (in the top-level navigation) and click the Invite friends link
• On the Invite friends page, enter the e-mail addresses* of the people you want to invite; you can also add a message if you’d like
• Click Send invitations and we’ll fire off your invites right away

*Don’t have the e-mail addresses handy? Click the Import e-mail addresses link (as shown in the image below) and you import addresses from your AOL, Yahoo, Gmail, Outlook and/or Plaxo accounts.

And what if you’re not a member and want to join? Let us know and we’ll send you an invite, too.

Create Posting integrated with Search
We’ve put two of the most popular and powerful Corkboard tools into one easy step. Now, when you create a Posting, we’ll also search our partner APIs to see if we can find a match (and add important contextual information) to what you’re posting to your Corkboard. This includes looking at Amazon for Products, Yelp for Places and Upcoming for Events.

Improved navigation
It’s now easier to move around Corkboard, and to discover new things. We’ve gone from 5 top-level links to 4, and have added many subcategories to help you while you’re on the site.

Here’s what the new navigation includes:

My Corkboard
Link to your Dashboard, Postings, Collections and Reminders.

People
A new section that lets you see what your Corkboard contacts are up to, as well as to find Corkboarders who share your interests.

Discover
Another new section that makes it easy to see the latest activity on Corkboard. You can see what’s happening near you, what’s popular on the site and more.

Settings
Manage your Profile and Preferences.

New ways to find new things
The Discover link on the top-level navigation helps you do exactly what the name implies: discover new things and people on Corkboard. You can look for Corkboarders who live near you, see what Postings are happening in your area and much, much more.

An easy way to add a link to a Posting
One of the biggest requests we heard from our Alpha users was for a quick and easy way to add links to Postings. We’ll now it’s as easy as typing whatever link you want into a special URL field.
